These services are provided for Holy Rosary students:
Pre-screening for early childhood is available through Child Development Days of Taylor County scheduled
in the fall of the year.
Holy Rosary School offers one-to-one assistance in the areas of decoding, phonics and reading.
Fast Forward and Wilson are used with students in these areas. Reading 360 is also available
in grades K-6.
Star Math is available for students in both remediation and to provide challenge work.
Students with advanced skills may also be eligible for online classes through Odysseyware
in connection with Regis High School in Eau Claire.
Student referrals in the areas of academic intervention, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech pathology can be made by the classroom teacher along with parental input. A team of teachers will determine modifications and accommodations in response to intervention.
Evaluations are completed by the Medford Area Public School District in conjunction with resources from CESA 10 and are made within 60 days of the referral. Parents are encouraged to discuss educational issues with the student’s teacher and then the principal.
